How to Perform Xiaomi Dual CPID Operation with DFT PRO? (Step-by-Step Guide)​

We've explained step-by-step how to perform Dual CPID operation on Xiaomi devices using DFT PRO TOOL, one of the most popular service tools . If you have another tool that has the ability to read and write "Critical Data" on Xiaomi devices, you can use it with the same logic.

Warning:​

Before starting the process, please be sure to check the following points. Devices in these situations are not supported , and orders placed under these conditions will not be processed:

• Chinese Variant Devices
• Devices with Mi ID (Account) Lock
• Devices with MDM and PayJoy Locks
• Devices with Modified Resistor Resistor: If the device has previously undergone hardware-based resistor replacement, absolutely do not attempt CPID (Chip Identification Number) testing; you could suffer significant financial losses.

Step-by-Step CPID Process​

Step 1: Back up your critical data.​

This is the most important step in the process. Use DFT PRO TOOL to back up your device's Critical Data . This backup will be necessary both when placing the order and will allow you to recover your device in case of any errors during the process.

Step 2: Obtain the CPUID Code (For MTK Processors Only)​

If your device has a MediaTek (MTK) processor:

1. Put your phone in Mi Assistant mode.
2. Copy the long CPUID code highlighted in red on the program screen .
3. Paste this code into the appropriate field on the SoulAuth platform.

Step 3: Fill in all the information completely.​

Ensure the following fields on the vehicle are filled in completely and correctly:

CPUID · Product · IMEI1 · IMEI2 · Wi-Fi MAC · BT MAC

• Tip:Product If you are unsure of the device (model) code, put the phone into Fastboot mode, then open the Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool on your computer fastboot getvar productand run the command.

Device-Specific Critical Tips​

The order of operation or version status varies in some models:

• VEUX : First, install the ENG MODEM ➔ Perform the CPID operation ➔ Finally,install the STOCK MODEM again.
• SUNSTONE : The process will fail if HyperOS 2 is installed on the device.You must downgrade the version to HyperOS 1 before performing CPID.
• MOONSTONE : First, install the ENG ROM ➔ Perform the CPID operation ➔ Finally,install the STOCK ROM again.

Troubleshooting and What You Need to Know​

• If the IMEI hasn't changed: If the IMEI numbers haven't changed even after writing the critical data to the device, perform a Factory Reset and try again. If the problem persists, first install the ENG Firmware and then repeat the process.
• Refund Policy: The Critical Data file on the server side is generated entirely based on the information you provide. The user is solely responsible for any incorrect data entry or software/hardware problems that may occur on the device. This transaction is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
